What ever the metaverse turns out to be Zuckerberg will own a big chuck of it and it will super hard for anyone to produce a competitor product given the cost and time requirements.
People will probably start by using it sparingly and giving enough time, one generation, people will make it part of their life.
It's not a waste of money. Meta is probably the only company that can go deep into metaverse development. All other companies don't have the money or their Board of directors and stockholders would find a way to stop it.
- CarsonJohnston 4y agoIt's just a matter of time. The technology is still in its early phase; once the younger generations grow up the Metaverse will become much bigger. Although, I wish there was more competition in this market so the technology gets developed faster.
