We all love free money,no need to ask, but the increase in money supply will increase inflation making things worse. So,no... I wonder if a special credit card that can only be used on food and gas for those under X income would work? It would need to be paid for and not be debt so that the money supply does not increased.

  Yes, but you really have to be in deep need to qualify plus it does not include gas. I'm thinking a card for everyone under say, 100k. It won't happen, debt will add to the money supply and there's no tolerance for new taxes to pay for it.
