From perspective of managing life, work and schedules across globally distributed teams ... there is already enough mental overhead to schedule workday, meetings etc across timezones. I really wish the concept of Daylight Savings is done away with globally. If a particular profession, organization, or person needs to run on a different schedule -- they are very welcome to shift THEIR office/availability hours around twice an year or as often as they want.
