IQ is largely out of fashion due to some very uncomfortable truths about it… It is indeed still the best predictor of success. It is also very innate and genes have a lot of influence on it. Not much that can be done with equity about it. This is why NIH forbids the use of its genetic data for research on intelligence (and several other topics).
