Are they intentionally avoiding addressing the present cause? IE the crazy inflation bumming everybody out.
- starkd 4y agoIt's not just alcohol. The surge in use of opiates was roaring a good 20 years before national attention started to emphasize it. Governments and media always seem to be behind the curve when addressing new problems that arise. Usually, a crisis or reality is needed to force the issue to our attention.
- swayvil 4y agoTo cite present causes is to accuse the present administrators. Citing past causes is safer. Maybe? Or maybe citing causes after they've passed gives investors a chance to shift their investments before the hammer comes down.
