My main problem with AWS has always been the console UI being horrendous and inconsistent, the poor documentation and having far too many services. Also, AWS not having something like Azure's resource groups or GCP's projects and instead telling you to create accounts for different projects and environments, and using AWS Organizations or however they call it sounds like a huge PITA.
