Good luck! The next few weeks are going to be tough in ways you never imagined and you are going to have to deal with them at a time when you are feeling least able to handle it. In totality I describe it as feeling like a grenade went off in your life and you are walking around in that dazed and confused mode with high pitched ringing in your ears. We're two months into our second child and it's only slightly easier the second time around! In all likelyhood there will be medical issues in the next couple of weeks with the baby or your partner. In all of the cases I know of these have been overcome completely, the children are happy and healthy, but at the time it can feel overwhelming. Try to remember that you will get though it.
