There are other comments in this thread suggesting Altera shares were tanked due to manufacturing delays from Intel.
- SilverBirch 4y agoYeah, I think that's a bit of re-writing history. It's certainly true that the Intel partnership was a shitshow, but Altera shares traded at a pretty constant ratio to Xilinx and were bought at a big premium. Intel weren't exactly savvy in their acquisitions during BK's tenure.
