  "Swipe through the headlines - no need to read the full articles." I mean that's really the problem. Everybody reads headlines and thinks they read the article. Does swiping affect the kind of news that will be displayed to me in the future?

  Really cool idea. Could work really well if today's headlines were not as sensational / clickbaity as they are just to drive ad-revenue up. Since you already use GPT-3 to generate digests of articles, couldn't you use it to also generate non clickbait headlines? (either based on that digest or the full article) That could be an interesting experiment.
