- idonotknowwhy 4y agoThey're also put performing AMD at the top end with their latest chips. And they dominate in the Steam hardware survey (gamers more likely to build their own machines)

- iforgotpassword 4y agoDid you see the benchmarks for their current gen CPUs? They are on par with Ryzen 7000 and better in performance per Dollar. Especially since they still support ddr3 and fit in 12th gen sockets, making it even more attractive if you want to upgrade from last gen. With AMD you're forced to buy all new, with expensive ddr4.
- neogodless 4y agoMinor correction: Last generation and legacy support is for DDR4. The new, more expensive stuff is DDR5.
