Show HN: Precision landing via quadcopter using aruco markers
Hello HN, me and a couple of my friends are attempting to get crack precision landing for quadcopters, we are currently experimenting with various ways of control and estimation. Here is our initial attempt at doing so.
- polishdude20 4y agoThis is super cool! So there are multiple patterns at different sizes because they need to be read at different heights right? The smaller pattern is different than the bigger one because as the drone gets closer and can read the smaller one, it uses it to lock on as the bigger one leaves the field of view right?
- basmango_real 4y agoyes! that's the purpose! the aruco board I used for the IRL demonstration is actually inspired by the fibonacci pattern!
