I received their emails a couple of times. Not sure if a cost-benefit analysis would find such ops positive for the society. Think of the time wasted by people who read such emails vs the money spent protecting from attacks. Factor in the cost to the taxpayer. That's a good topic for a Master thesis in Economics. Anyone interested?
