Elon Musk Wants Twitter Employees to Work 84 Hours a Week
- zeristor 4y ago“Pray I don’t change the terms a second time.” I was never especially keen of the going to Mars bit. Perhaps my lack of faith is disturbing. Prey -> Pray [You mean my Praying Mantis isn’t so beneficent?]
- AnimalMuppet 4y ago"Pray". "Prey" is the kind of thing you are in their perspective.
- AnimalMuppet 4y agoTheir jobs are at stake. Layoffs are coming. No word whether this is going to be enough to save their jobs, or whether they're going to be laid off anyway. No word whether this is a short-time panic, or the "new normal"... Right. I'd tell Must to lump it. He can lay me off if he wants. I literally do not have time in my life for this kind of nonsense. Easy for me to say when #1 I don't work there, #2 I'm in a position where I could take a period out of work, and #3 I'm already looking for my next thing anyway. Easy for me to talk big under those circumstances. But I think it would be the same answer anyway. 84-hour week? 7 days a week? No promise that I won't be laid off, and that it's not temporary? No. In fact, to steal a line from the "Zits" comic strip, there are not enough letters in the word "no" to adequately express the no-ness of my answer.
