If we have a RSS revival, please be Atom 1.0 :) !
- doublepg23 4y agoWhat are the differences between RSS and Atom? Most of my experience with RSS is just for podcasts.
- edhelas 4y agoAtom 1.0 is strictly and well defined in https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc5023 https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc5023 RSS is a bunch of different "standards" and good practices, its way more difficult to parse and play with. They both have the same goal, but one is just cleaner and stricter :)

- kevincox 4y agoThere is nothing wrong with JSON Feed but IMHO it doesn't add enoiover Atom to justify adding a new format into the mix. That being said the reader I wrote supports it because why not.
