The article quotes The Intercept story describing a dedicated FB portal, accessible only for those with government email addresses, for requesting content removal and then says "Nothing in that system is about demanding or suppressing information, and it’s basically misinformation for the Intercept to imply otherwise."
That's just one example of the problems with this Techdirt piece. The entire article is very fishy and gives off very strong regime sockpuppet vibes.
