I just checked: I just followed the URL
to a Microsoft site you gave -- somehow
that is not the URL I followed in the hour
I wasted.
I checked my notes, and I did not bother
to keep the URLs I did follow. I take a
LOT of notes, but I'm in a hurry and do
not take notes on everything, especially
things that don't work.
Okay, I'll try to get my standard Web
browser Firefox to tell me what URLs I did
visit. From that Firefox data I see that
I visited:
https://partner.microsoft.com/en-us/membership/compare-programs https://partner.microsoft.com/en-us/membership/compare-progr...
https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/ https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/mpn-create-a-partner-center-account https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/mpn-create-...
So, each of those URLs led to many Web pages.
Then on page
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/arm/dev-kit/#device-specifics https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/arm/dev-kit/#devic...
maybe I saw:
"Device specifics
32GB LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB fast NVMe
storage
Snapdragon® 8cx Gen 3 compute platform
Ports: 3x USB-A, 2x USB-C, Mini-Display
(HBR2 support), Ethernet (RJ45)
Made with 20% recycled ocean plastic
Available in the Microsoft Store"
If I did see this, then I wondered
what the heck
Snapdragon® 8cx Gen 3 compute platform
was. I still wonder what the heck they
are talking about.
A "platform"? A "device"? Even with a
lot more work, Microsoft would have a
tough time being more obscure.
