Not since the 1995 docudrama Waterworld have I heard such an ambitious prediction. Accurate maps and compasses will certainly be important at that point.
- JJMcJ 4y ago200 meters would flood the entire Mississippi Valley into Wisconsin, not to mention the ocean reaching inland to flood the entire Great Lakes. It might be disruptive.
- floydnoel 4y agoIf all the sea ice in the world melted the water would rise 70 meters. I think that’s something like what the post you’re replying to is alluding.
