Politics is a subset of philosophy -- the philosophy of governance, and of social and economic organization -- but it can include a lot of things. Some argue that it's impossible to be apolitical, because almost everything you do is a legal matter somewhere (drinking, eating certain foods, reading certain things), so by doing them, you are implicitly asserting a political position. Wikileaks has always been in favor of free speech, and publishes content that is actually illegal in some places. They have always been political to one extent or another.
