Oh yeah, the Philly is strong and distinct. My accent isn’t Deep South thick, but it’s there. I’ve embraced my use of “ain’t”, “y’all”, “fixin to”, and “whatnot”. When poked fun at, I generally respond with a “bless your heart”. Which people misunderstand as politeness.
