The image of Berlin in 2030 if med students did other things is itself a reason to keep as many in med school as possible. TL;DR If you're smart, being a doctor is a waste. Being something else is more valuable to your world than being a good doctor, there are too many of those anyway. Let the less-smart and less-talented in to be doctors so that the really smart can make better factory automation or financial instruments. Germany is too egalitarian, egalitarian sucks.
