- Mountain_Skies 4y agoSounds like the cultural gatekeepers are in for a significant reduction in their influence and power. No wonder they're trying to scare everyone into being against it.
- djmips 4y agoStill sounds pretty bad, kind of reminds me of a vocaloid in tone. Interesting nevertheless.
- senkora 4y agoDirect link to the song: https://youtu.be/kPAEMUzDxuo https://youtu.be/kPAEMUzDxuo I really like the video. The audio is not great by the standards of modern vocal synths. Manual tuning would help a lot; the best vocaloid producers manually tune their songs. In the spirit of HN, here’s a few other vocal synth things that you might enjoy: Vocaloid 6, fully automatically and with no tuning, attempting to re-sing the He-Man song based on an input audio file: https://youtu.be/fljBkurJfnU https://youtu.be/fljBkurJfnU A song incorporating Solaria (vocal synth, lead vocals) and a human (backing vocals) https://youtu.be/F8fbq7V3qes https://youtu.be/F8fbq7V3qes The concept of a “self-cover”, where a artist first releases a song with a vocal synth, and then later covers it using their own voice: Original: https://youtu.be/Hle_adE6vqc https://youtu.be/Hle_adE6vqc Self-cover: https://youtu.be/r1vxyzvw3UI https://youtu.be/r1vxyzvw3UI
