Pirates also care about: - abuse of idea/infomation monopolies such as patents on drugs and software - other areas where governments are infringing people's digital rights, e.g. spying on people's communications using the excuse of terrorism and pedophilia - Pirates appreciate that a root cause is that governments do what big business wants, therefore want to get money out of politics and strengthen democracy
