I would have thought output; the machining, heat treatment, etc. is demanding and involves many tools. Assembly is a whole other phase.

- chasd00 4y agoNot to mention some of the alloys used in the Raptor2 engine were invented at SpaceX and exist nowhere else. They have to make the metal before even getting started on the part. I would imagine, start to finish, a Raptor2 takes a while.
