If something is so much fun that you'd be willing to do it without getting paid, other people probably will do it without getting paid, which means that nobody's going to pay you for it.
- Cupertino95014 4y agoVery well and succinctly stated. Go to any un-juried street art fair, and see all the mediocre art being offered by people with no outstanding talent. They probably love making their art, and not only would they do it without getting paid, they actually are doing it without getting paid.
- ElevenLathe 4y agoThe other strategy is to have a rare skill or set of skills such that, even if lots of other people will do it for free and therefore underbid you, you can still find buyers despite your higher (non-zero) price tag.
