Hey hey, Founder here! Thanks a lot for your feedback, and I think you are right in a couple of things. We definitely need to work on the slogan. Just to clarify our goal: we indeed don't plan to replace the underlying file system, we will essentially be a file manager. The main advantage we see is with automated folders (i.e., you can dump all of your files on your Desktop and NeveMind sorts everything out for you - based on both "content" and "type" of the files). We then provide search on top of the collected metadata, as you said. We don't plan on offering cloud storage, we plan on integrating with DropBox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc, so you can sort your files everywhere.
