Truth About Y Combinator: Is it worth it?
- O__________O 4y agoSuper strange how they both acknowledge people applying to YC frequently do not understand value of YC — then both claim there are “secret benefits” to joining YC they’re unable to talk about. Anyone have any idea of what “secret benefits” they are talking about?

(not sure how else to refer to you, not sure how many underscores that even is ;) Back when I worked at a YC company circa 2012, there were some cultish founder-only events that my founders said they'd promised to keep in strict confidence and never divulge the details of. Whatever that means. Mystical Secrets of the YCapitalism Brotherhood, I suppose. Queue spooky music
