- OneLeggedCat 4y agoAround 2003 Hotmail deleted half of my emails. I was able to reach an actual Microsoft employee, who apologized a lot (this happened to a lot of users nationally that day), and told me they were gone permanently. They weren't even backing up these emails. Glad that you have had no problem with them. I haven't either since leaving them behind.
