You should never just listen to the negative people then your will to live dies. Listening only to yes sayers is no better. There is always going to be nudging and shaming for non comformative choices, like using facebook vs irc. Rise above that and do not judge people who argue about it (I do not always live how I teach but 80% is enough to be sane)
