ProPublica and Vanity Fair push Covid lab-leak theory with 'train wreck' exposé
- jfengel 4y agoThat's pretty damning. I wonder why those two generally left-leaning publications would go looking to rely on a partisan report as the basis of their reporting. Sure, that would sell clicks, but ProPublica in particular has aimed not to be clickbait, and Vanity Fair also has a long history of serious reporting rather than hype. Neither is beyond reproach, to be sure, but this doesn't seem to fit in with how they see themselves.
