Personally, I see it as a win-win. If it fails and Twitter dies, then Twitter is dead. If it succeeds, then the containment mechanism of Twitter is intensified

Personally, I see it as a win-win. If it fails and Twitter dies, then Twitter is dead. If it succeeds, then the containment mechanism of Twitter is intensified even more, due to twitter-users feeling the need to "get the most" out of their reoccurring monthly bill, in effect leaving the remaining fun outskirts of the internet unmolested by comparison.
