Playstation Plus Loses Nearly 2M Subscribers Months After Relaunch
- jonny_eh 4y agoThe strange thing is this wasn't a price hike or a reduction in service. It was a launch of new tiers above the previous singular one. So to me this looks like a failure of marketing. Users may have thought they were going to be charged more so cancelled. Or maybe they were just reminded that they had a subscription that they didn't use.
- musicale 4y agoPeople quitting after a confusing relaunch that placed existing subscriptions in the bottom tier? Never saw that one coming.
- etempleton 4y agoI let my subscription lapse. I don’t use my PlayStation anymore. I don’t really care to get a PS5 either. I play games on my PC and that is it. I don’t see myself going back to console gaming. I bet a lot of people feel the same.
