Nice! We use CalTopo.com (Works everywhere, not just California) and GaiaGPS.com for offline mapping and track recording. Both allow offline use after downloading map tiles. CalTopo allows you to add lines and markers and polygons to your map beforehand in the web app or in the field on the mobile app. It does have a number of analysis features, but it's not as multi-day-hiking-specific.)
