What the hell is this list?
* Ventura does not support Rosetta/PowerPC software
Is this a surprise to anyone? Since 2011?
* Ventura has an OS version of 13.x instead of 10.x, 11.x, or 12.x - this could affect some older software installers and scripts if they check the OS version incorrectly
This has been happening for two major versions now. Is this a surprise to anyone?
* QuarkXPress 6, 7, 8 and 9
Yeah... software from 2003 (v6, v9 was released in 2011) isn't supported!? break out the pitchforks and torches.
- ehutch79 4y agoIf you need to run (very) old software, just don't update to the latest OS. Just keep the machine off any networks and you don't need to be concerned about security patches or lack thereof.
- uni_rule 4y ago> here is a clear, concise list of changes for someone moving from the a noticeably older to the latest revision of MacOS > what the hell? I already know these this, why does this stupid list even exist
- udev 4y agoI think this is a more-or-less cumulative list, as opposed to the more common incremental list of changes. There are cases when a cumulative list is useful.
