Introversion and extroversion are also not just binary traits in my opinion. Some “introverts” are very extroverted with friends they know well and in intimate settings. They are happy and receive energy from these social interactions whereas big groups may drain them.
- eyelidlessness 4y agoThat describes most if not nearly all introverts, and it’s something extroverts (and many introverts too!) often misunderstand. The thing is though, most introverts still feel socially drained after even those positive-feeling, energizing social settings, and take (or should take) downtime to recover afterwards.
