The only thing this will result in is the speedup of the move over to RISC-V. Because of this spat I predict RISC-V will be dominant within a decade and large inroads in 5 years or less in the mobile and embedded space. I even predict we'll see large numbers of vendors who'll make RISC-V server and desktop CPU's.
