Same here. Working in a global company I’m on zoom with coworkers from 6-7 cities on three different continents daily. I have much closer relationships with all of them. The lack of a 2-hour commute is an incredible boost in energy and productivity. Quality affordable home cooked meals, pleasant spacious ergonomic work environment I have 100% control over allow me to minimize interruptions and do deep work. After work I “commute” to the beach for a run. Most of my communication is in written format - organized in Basecamp, easy to locate and leaving a visible paper trail of my activity.
