"We just got back from Mexico. It was great!" Then "We just got back from Thailand. It was amazing!" It can either mean they assimilated into a new culture, or they went to the Marriott in whatever city. When I travel, I desire to feel like I live there. An AirBnB with nice amenities, the occasional expensive cocktail(s), and some mainstream event, but the rest needs to be as authentic as possible.
