p50 standard of living seems like the obvious one to me.
- akomtu 4y agoIf I were an ultra-rich who owns 10% of the entire nation's wealth, it would be rational to promote GDP as the main indicator of success, because 10% of that GDP belongs to me. On the other hand, if I were the collective consciousness of the people, I'd define success in the percentile terms, like you said.
