Is it just me, or doesn't this violate conflict of interest rules concerning loyalty owed to the company that a CEO (or Technoking) works for? Is TSLA at risk for a rogue CEO in the same way that META is?
- sn0w_crash 4y agoTeslas BoD and shareholders seem content with the company’s performance. If it starts to degrade, then perhaps they can question this act (and others)
- vba616 4y agoTesla has no board of directors. Did you hear, did you hear this, they got bought out. As far as the owners' opinion, what about the customers? More of a leading indicator, no? Why would GM suspend advertising? Because they're just dying to get dirty in the culture wars, or...because of the obvious conflict of interest when the owner of Twitter owns their competitor?
- klyrs 4y ago> Tesla has no board of directors. Do you have a source on that? https://ir.tesla.com/corporate https://ir.tesla.com/corporate Edit: oh, I see, Twitter's BOD got dissolved. The amount that people are confusing the two companies is bewildering
- vba616 4y agoOk, right, it was a typo/thinko. They both begin with T! And the point of this item is that Musk is confusing the two!
- wolrah 4y ago> Is TSLA at risk for a rogue CEO I'd argue that somewhere between "Funding Secured", eliminating the entire PR department, and being unable to keep a general counsel for more than a few months they've already been there for a while.
