I’m very surprised that dealerships are having troubles. Haven’t they been charging all time high markups?
- curmudgeon22 4y agoMy (relatively uninformed) understanding is that they are only able to charge these markups because of a similarly "all time" lack of inventory, leading to scarcity of vehicles to sell. The increase in transaction value isn't making up for the decrease in transaction volume.
