Right? I'm hearing a lot of comments about his ego (and I'm sure he has one) but in this post he's also being refreshingly honest about his own abilities. I think that's a healthy take for anyone: just because you can climb the ladder and make more money doesn't mean you should.
I'm sure some people are also triggered by the supernatural turn his writing took there. Who cares? It's interesting, and he's not being a jerk.
- joshspankit 4y agoI have long suspected that you need an ego to lead a company that’s on the frontier. An ego draws boundaries between you and those who seek to take you down and it can also be what pulls you towards a world where you are the one bringing the Big Ideas to life.
- 4m1rk 4y agoLong term I don’t think he would make less money. Though even if he does he'll enjoy what he does and that's all that matters.
