Elon Musk dissolves Twitter’s board and makes himself ‘sole director’
- Our_Benefactors 4y agoHas there ever been an instance where a public company was brought private and the board of directors stuck around? This article seems odd to me, framing the situation like Elon is somehow doing something out of the ordinary.
- gotorazor 4y agoI think it is normal to setup a new board after an acquisition -- usually with all the people that help finance the deal and maybe an independent director or 2. A "sole director" in a multi-billion dollar company is strange.
- legitster 4y agoYou mean to tell me that the board responsible for representing shareholders has been dissolved now that there are no shareholders? What a dumb freaking article.
