Lot of throwaway accounts at the top of this thread, that's quite funny fun, and telling about this site
Cryptocurrencies are ponzi schemes, they are scams, they should be illegal
There are better ways to fight the current system than with other scams
- tossl568 4y agoWho is running the Bitcoin ponzi? The CEO of Bitcoin? Any other type of computing/calculation you'd like to make illegal? Maybe everything that gets hashed with SHA-256 should be preapproved by the government first?
- Kukumber 4y agobitcoin is a CIA/FED project to crowdfund the development and harden the security of the tech, to prepare for the digital EURODOLLAR there is nothing illegal there, you play with the words, you know excatly what i'm talking about "whitepaper: by investing in GreenCoin you help save lifes in africa by helping us plant trees" coinbase, binance and every other exchanges facilitates these ponzi schemes since institutions are playing blind, how do you fix the issue? it's similar with Twitter and conspiracy theorists, are you against free speech? shouldn't we ban them and delete their tweets? it's the same here, you don't give them a place to prosper bonus: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=31012462 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=31012462 oh i remember that account :'D
- TobTobXX 4y agoTo be fair, I'd say many people _use_ cryptocurrencies to execute Ponzi schemes. The original motivation behind it (anonymous, fast and censor-resistant money) is something I like, just the execution and everything that followed (monstrous energy usage, speculation, scam, Ponzi) is what I dislike.
