I would be hesitant to use a framework like this for anything except basic use-cases. This, as well as other frameworks like chart.js are configuration-based. That means they are good for the defined features that they support, but as soon as you need to do something outside of what the developer has considered you will be fighting a losing battle. I much prefer composition-based charting library. I use react, so I like Visx for that.
