That wasn't a choice, if one of the networks wanted it, there's no way it would have been in syndication.
- shadowgovt 4y agoAnd if I recall correctly, it wasn't so much "offered" as "inextricably bundled to the TOS syndication rights so if networks wanted to keep running that series they had to bankroll a season of TNG." Smart business practice but kind of rude to the stations.
