Matrices as Tensor Network Diagrams
- ogogmad 4y agoThis reminds me of the circuit notation used in quantum computing. They serve different purposes though: The quantum circuits serve to describe unitary matrices by direct sum and matrix multiplciation. The TND diagrams serve to describe operations on tensors, namely tensor product and contraction.
