Moonwalkers Dramatically Increase Your Walking Speed
- Finnucane 4y agoAt that price, you go first, let me know.
- superchroma 4y ago"there is still a super early adopter special available that gets you a pair for $1,099" holy moly
- danboarder 4y agoYep, "early adopter pricing"... except it will probably go down in price with mass production. It does look cool though!
- Someone 4y agohttps://www.kickstarter.com/projects/shiftmoonwalkers/moonwalkers-the-worlds-fastest-shoes/ https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/shiftmoonwalkers/moonwa...: > Fast and effortless, get to your destination in less than half the time with a 250% increase in your walking speed. > Top Speed: 7 mph For that to be a 250% increase, your walking speed must be 2 mph. That’s about the speed of the grim reaper (https://www.bmj.com/content/343/bmj.d7679 https://www.bmj.com/content/343/bmj.d7679) aka “very slow for healthy youngsters”. I would call 7 mph about double walking speed. The thing is aptly named, though. At almost 2kg/shoe, you probably won’t lift them from the floor much.
