I look forward to a new name. Gitea always sounded awful.
- remram 4y agoAs a non-native English speaker, I never know how to pronounce it. I know it's supposed to be git-tea but in my head it's more git-eh-ah.
- Shared404 4y agoAs a native English speaker I'm just now realizing the same.
- rascul 4y agoI'm a native English speaker and luckily I've never found the need to pronounce gitea. In my head, it'll randomly either be "git-tea" or "git-e-ah".
- ilyt 4y agoDo they have pronunciation guide? Thought it's just gi-tea
- Deukhoofd 4y agoThey do, it's the first question in the FAQ. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EM71-2uDAoY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EM71-2uDAoY
- EamonnMR 4y agoI've been following the story all morning and only now just realized it's tea like the beverage.
