In theory, it's a good idea. Unfortunately it fails when the restaurant has no Web design skills. I was at a small but prominent Montreal hamburger restaurant recently. I scanned the QR, and was confronted with page after page of whisky, wine and beer, when all I wanted was a hamburger. Six pages down, I finally found the burgers. Irritating.
