- gus_massa 4y agoI used this "method" a few times to solve math problems. Just make a few case, probably 10, and then look deeply at the numbers and guess the formula. Sometimes looking at the formula gives an insight of how a formal proof can be made, and sometimes you can prove the formula using induction.
